Agriculture

CARETAKING, CULTIVATING AND STEWARDING

Agricultural studies are currently on offer to Year 9 and 10 students. Our curriculum is based in the Biblical principles of caretaking, cultivating and stewarding of resources. The Agriculture program provides a holistic approach to the growing and harvesting of foods and fibres, which allows our students to connect the threads of Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Biology, Geography and Food Technology.

Hands-on Experience

We have a dedicated agricultural plot for students to gain hands-on experience in our gardens, newly established orchard and livestock enterprises.

Pacific Hills features an iFarm, a fully computerised interactive farming and science research station helping students learn about the principles of farming, water usage, solar energy, and waste management.

Enriching Experiences

Our school clubs are special interest groups where students are enriched as they spend quality time with their like-minded fellow students, delving into their interests and hobbies beyond the classroom setting. This fosters a greater sense of belonging, the opportunity to build lasting friendships, and the chance to develop and hone their skills.

Diverse Offerings

We are dedicated to providing a wide range of clubs, each thoughtfully designed to cater to different age groups. This selection includes clubs such as Lego, Gardening, Compassion, Chess, Drawing, Eat/Play/Connect, Alive, Science, Art, Mathematics, and Photography, ensuring there are opportunities for everyone to explore and find enjoyment.

Sports

Is your child naturally talented and passionate about sport? Would they like to compete at more competitive levels? We understand the benefits of sport and help students pursue their sporting dreams by providing opportunities to compete at higher levels of sport competitions at off-campus events locally, regionally and at state levels.
